I'll start with the basics of who I am. I am Issa Schultz, 15 years of age, currently living in Noosa, Queensland, in sunny Australia. I was born in St. Austell, Cornwall, in the wet country of England, on the 1st of March, 1984. I was born just fine - apart from one problem, I was born with jaundice, a "disease" where your skin and eyeballs are discolored, in other words they turn to the colour of yellow. The main jaundice normally has is altered vision - where you see things in different colours as to what they are supposed to be.
Fortunately however, the effects of jaundice soon subsided, and before long, jaundice had disappeared altogether. But believe or not, more problems struck. I won't go into these in huge detail, but my hearing ability gradually got worse (which I laugh at today being a musician), and for some reason or another, I did not talk. I simply cannot explain it. It wasn't a matter of not wanting to talk, it was more a matter of not being to understand what was being said - therefore I could not put my thoughts into words. Over the years however, both of these problems have been resolved to an extent, I had these little hearing apparatus' "installed" called gromits, which improved my hearing. My speech problem has been gradually resolved via means of speech therapy - which at the time I called it "sheep therapy"!! - and today I can say most things without a problem, however I do speak with an occasional lisp and basically EVERYONE knows that I cannot pronounce my "R"s. (eg. roger ---> woger!) But I live with it.

FAMILY
|
I am one of a family of six. I shall introduce them all.
My dad (John), was born in 1934 and is currently 65 years of age. After a quadruple heart bypass he endured recently, he is currently (fingers crossed!) in good health. He was the person who prompted the move from England to Australia - and I thank him a lot for that.
My mum (Paula), was born in 1954 and is currently 45 years of age. She works MUCH harder than any one of us, and yet still finds time to help us out on any problems that we may be having. The best mother I could ever want - I honestly don't know where I would be without her.
My older sister (Zara), was born in 1976 and is currently 23 years of age. Four years after moving here, she was still in a way unsettled and therefore decided to make the move back to England - which was hard for her and me, as I am closest to her more than anybody I believe. I miss her a lot.
My older brother (Seb), was born in 1979, and is currently 20 years of age. By far his favourite enjoyment comes from motorbikes. I do worry occasionally, but I think he's sensible enough.
My younger sister (Gretel), was born in 1986, and is currently 13 years of age. We have our arguments, as every brother and sister do, however that doesn't stop her from being the dearest little sister one could ask for.
And of course there's me, completing the six!! No one else in our family have their own web sites up as yet, so I'll put in some other useful links.

FRIENDS
|
Now I'm meant to type about my friends - where do I start? Well there are so many of them that really do have a special place in my heart (sounding soppy already!!), but seriously they really do - I don't know how I'd manage without their support. There are FAR too many to list, but I'll list a few: Marissa, Jane, Alice, Candy, Melanie, Sarah, Buggy, Whitney, Nic, Belle, Mitch, Nay, Julia, Kathryn, Yomi, Zara, Anna, and there are heaps more - apologies if I haven't listed you, I haven't forgotten you. A long period of uneasiness swept over me, well our whole family really, when we came to Australia. We had basically arrived somewhere that only Dad really knew anything about, and we knew nobody. We were half wondering why we were even here. But as soon as I settled into the last year of primary school, many friends were made - some I know up to this very day. I thank you all for your everlasting support, and I most certainly dread that last day of high school. I aim however to keep the friendship "alive" no matter where I am. I will most certainly never forget any of you either. Thank you. If any of you have any websites that you have established, please email me and let me know so I can include them on this page.

There are many things that I really enjoy doing. The most obvious hobby, which would seem natural to start off with, is music. Music, in general. Listening to music, composing music, teaching music, but most of all, playing music. I currently play French horn, violin, clarinet, trombone and the piano, with the flute to follow early in 2000. The only instrument I have done exams for is violin, I am up to Sixth Grade. I taught myself piano, and one day, when I have the time, will undergo exams for that also. I am currently unable to do exams for my wind instruments. I also study the Theory of Music, and am up at Sixth Grade for that also, and the AMusA exam (Associate of Music), is getting closer and closer...... *looks nervous* But I should be ok.
Anyone who has met me, which, let's face it, is all of you unless you stumbled across this site, would say that I am quite dramatic, leading perfectly to my next "hobby". drama. Drama surprisingly I seem to like a lot more than I thought I would - I love it. My favourite "category" of drama by far is theatresports - acting on the spot. Acting without rehearsal. Not trying to sound "stuck up", but I, with Belle, Nic and Shannon, formed one of the best Theatresports teams in Queensland, making it to the Grand Final. The enjoyment I got from this I just cannot describe. Theatresports is ALWAYS a lot of fun, as is Drama in general.
I'll briefly go over other likes and dislikes, I have a highly noticable addiction to Diet Coke, it's really shocking. By far my favourite food is chicken, by FAR. Every time I have an injection I faint - we tried everything to figure it out, brain scans, everything... but every time I have an injection... I'm just on the floor. Amusing in a way. I can't stand cockroaches or toads. Oh, and I feel sick (sometimes I faint!) at the sight of blood. There we go!!
